The Ministry of Economy is setting up standards for logistics parks to increase their competitiveness. With more than 280,000 employees, the logistics sector generates 5 percent of GDP.

Merkbau Zrt. handed over a joinery and carpentry factory in Kiskunhalas. The government supported the HUF 2.5 billion (EUR 6.5 million) investment with HUF 1 billion (EUR 2.6 million).
