TDK – Sensors from Szombathely

Japanese electronics giant TDK is investing HUF 26 billion (EUR 70 million) and creating 250 new jobs in Szombathely. The state is providing subsidies of HUF 6.6 billion (EUR 18 million) for the development.

Hungary’s supply of natural gas and electricity is secured, confirmed by the Hungarian Energy and Public Utility Regulatory Authority (MEKH). Regardless of the Ukraine war, Gazprom delivers reliably via the various pipelines. The Hungarian gas storage facilities are still about 20% full.
