MVM Zrt. – International bond issue

MVM Zrt. has issued a foreign currency bond. The company will use the USD 750 million loan with a maturity of seven years for general corporate financing purposes.

MVM’s bond issue on March 5 was accompanied by strong investor interest in the international capital markets, resulting in a more favorable interest rate of 6.5 percent compared to preliminary expectations and euro interest rate of 4.856 percent. The 3.3-fold oversubscription shows that the Group is recognized internationally by the financial community as a reliable player.

Among the financing objectives, investments in power plants and grid expansion are highlighted, including the expansion of renewable generation and the construction of power plants capable of system regulation, which also support the implementation of the national energy strategy.
