Panattoni, Europe’s largest deployer of institutional capital and developer in the industrial and logistics real estate sector, has started the first speculative logistics project in Hungary.

Point Marketing Kft. is building a new warehouse in Piliscsév. The investment costs amount to HUF 400 million (EUR 975,600).

In Mátranovák (Nógrád County), Alstom is investing HUF 1.3 billion (EUR 3.17 million) in producing a bogie frame for its hydrogen-powered passenger train and is hiring 100 new employees.

As Europe will most likely not have enough gas for the autumn and winter heating season, the Hungarian government declared an energy emergency and has approved a seven-point plan from August 1.

The government amended the KATA (Lump sum tax of small enterprises) tax law. As of September, KATA taxpayers will only be able to issue invoices to private individuals.

MVM Zöld Generáció Kft. – the renewable energy unit of MVM Group – is building a 28.8 MW solar park next to Debrecen International Airport with an investment of HUF 11.5 billion (EUR 28 million).

Raiffeisen Bank handed over a service center in Nyíregyháza. Around 400 employees will work there. The new center manages the bank’s telephone and video banking services.

Jász-Plasztik Kft. increased its capacity in Jászberény with an investment of HUF 10 billion ( EUR 24.6 million).

Kecskeméti Konzerv Kft. is expanding its capacities with an investment of HUF 3.3 billion (EUR 8.3 million).
