The Hungarian Hospitality Employers’ Association (VIMOSZ) and its consortium partners are working to enhance the digital competencies of small tourism enterprises. The initiative is backed by a non-repayable EU grant of HUF 1.3 billion (EUR 3.3 million). Co-financed by Hungary, the project is scheduled for completion by August 30, 2028.
Part of the Digital Renewal Operational Programme Plus (DIMOP Plus), the project aims to increase the digital maturity and competitiveness of SMEs in the tourism and hospitality sectors. It seeks to broaden the adoption of digital technologies and support the comprehensive digital transformation of the industry.
The active involvement of ecosystem stakeholders, including national professional associations, digital service providers, and international partners from Spain, Italy, and Portugal, ensures that the project outcomes are market-relevant, innovative, and sustainable in the long term.
