The Serbian paper manufacturer Drenik Hungary Kft. is investing HUF 42 billion (approx. EUR 110 million) to build a new production facility in Szolnok and create 55 new jobs.
The project is supported by the Hungarian government, which is providing HUF 9.5 billion (EUR 24.9 million) in state subsidies. With the investment, the company’s production capacity at the site will triple, while a new biomass power plant will be installed to ensure that emissions remain unchanged, despite the expansion.
