MVM Mobiliti has inaugurated its first charging station with a total capacity of 600 kilowatts in Törökbálint. The MVM Ultra project is funded by CINEA (European Climate Policy, Environmental Protection and Infrastructure Executive Agency) of the European Union. The total cost of the project amounts to HUF 1.2 billion (EUR 3 million), of which the subsidy of EUR 1.5 million accounts for just under half.
As part of the program, 600 kilowatts charging stations will be installed at 10 locations. MVM Mobiliti has been working with the Auchan hypermarket chain for many years. Törökbálint will be followed by investments in the chain’s parking lots in Miskolc and then in Budakalász, Csömör, Dunakeszi, Fót, Kecskemét, Maglód, Székesfehérvár and Szolnok.
In addition to the funds approved for 10 locations in 2022, MVM Mobiliti will receive a further EUR 3 million for the installation of e-charging stations with a capacity of 600 kilowatts at 20 additional locations across the country.
As a charge point operator, Mobiliti, a member of the MVM Group, operates the largest e-charging infrastructure in Germany and offers charging at its own charging stations using green electricity from renewable energy sources provided by MVM. The network of 1,700 public e-charging points offers nationwide coverage for more than 100,000 registered customers.
