As part of a major investment, Messer Hungarogáz has built a nitrogen plant at the Székesfehérvár factory of Harman Becker Kft. This is intended to cover the local nitrogen requirements of the electronics manufacturer of vehicle electronics and contribute to energy efficiency.
Harman Becker Kft, a Samsung Group company, manufactures electronic and acoustic products for the automotive industry in Székesfehérvár, including amplifiers, navigation systems and head units.
The plant has been producing high-purity nitrogen, which is essential for the manufacture of electronic products, since the first quarter, replacing transportation by road. The fully automated, remote-controlled system reduces the electricity consumption for the delivery of one cubic meter of gas to one third compared to the previous nitrogen supply.
