Marzek Kner Packaging, a packaging materials manufacturer with an Austrian background, has expanded its capacities in Békéscsaba with an investment of HUF 5.5 billion (around EUR 14 million). The government supported the investment with approximately HUF 1.5 billion (EUR 3.8 million), as it secures jobs for 480 employees.
More than half of Marzek Kner Packaging Kft.’s production is exported abroad.
Austrian companies currently employ around 75,000 people in Hungary and have implemented 68 large-scale projects with state support over the past decade.
