Gentherm Hungary Kft. is investing HUF 6.3 billion (EUR 16.3 million) in an R&D project in Pilisszentiván, near Budapest. The government is supporting the development with HUF 940 million (EUR 2,4 million), as the number of researchers and developers will increase by 130 employees.
The aim of the investment by the U.S. automotive supplier is to expand its activities at the Hungarian site, which serves as a strategically important regional logistics and engineering center.
