The SPAR Magyarország franchise network has opened its 300th partner store in Lenti. The anniversary store in the center of Lenti is one of a total of four stores operated by Fe-Zo Kft. in the southwest of the country.
Last year, the SPAR franchise network had a turnover of almost HUF 135 billion (EUR 330 million) with around 3,700 employees.
The SPAR franchise program started in 2012 with the first store in Mór. By the end of the year, the franchise network will be expanded by a total of 35 stores to 308 branches, 87 of which are located at OMV and 70 at ORLEN petrol stations. The Austrian retail chain found new partners in several suburbs of Budapest, in Szentgotthárd, Pécs and Szeged, in Bábolna and Tapolca, among others.
