The government’s aim is to significantly boost the economy in 2024. The government aims to achieve a 4% economic growth this year.
National Economic Minister Márton Nagy has therefore announced further support programs. One key element is the GINOP Plus operational program. A total of HUF 900-910 billion are available for two priorities within the GINOP Plus programs. One focuses on business development and the other on enhancing the labor market participation. A further 6-8 programs will be published in the near future.
Large amounts of repayable funds are available for business development, mainly for investments, and cover topics such as the purchase of production equipment, green energy and digitalization. These funds are to be granted at zero interest. In turn, non-repayable subsidies are granted to activate the labor market.
