The German WAREMA Group is realizing three projects in Nagykanizsa, Gyál and Pécs with a total value of HUF 11 billion (almost EUR 30 million). The state supports the resulting 150 jobs with HUF 1.8 billion (EUR 4,8 million).
The focus of the investments is a significant increase in capacity in Nagykanizsa and the construction of a logistics hall at the headquarters in Gyál. At the same time, a third project is being implemented at WAREMA Sun Shading Systems Hungary Kft. in Pécs, another Hungarian subsidiary of the WAREMA Group.
Two years ago, WAREMA Plastic Technology Hungary Kft. started producing injection molded parts in Nagykanizsa. It settled in Gyál about 10 years ago, primarily as a supplier to the automotive industry. In addition to increasing capacities and specializing in large components, the injection molding plant in Nagykanizsa is used for closer cooperation with industrial partners and customers. The new location has developed so well that more modern injection molding machines are now being purchased and the production and logistics infrastructure is being updated accordingly.
