The foundation stone has been laid in Békéscsaba for the first European plant of the Vulcan Shield Group, a Singapore-based company with Chinese roots.
With an investment volume of HUF 280 billion (EUR 720 million), the large-scale project will create 250 jobs. The global leader in high-end insulation films is receiving HUF 50 billion (EUR 128.8 million) in state support for this flagship project. The insulation materials produced here can withstand extremely high temperatures, making them ideal for use in aerospace, aviation, and automotive applications.
Following the establishment of the European manufacturing center in Békéscsaba, the company has already committed to setting up an R&D center in Budapest.
