Fastron Hungária Kft., a manufacturer of electronic components with a German background, is expanding its capacities in Tolna (Tolna County) with an investment of HUF 4.2 billion (EUR 11 million). In addition to the existing 350 jobs, 30 new positions will be created, partly in research and development. State support covers roughly one third of the investment volume.
The Fastron Group supplies the automotive, electronics, and medical technology industries.
In recent years, industrial output in the county has nearly tripled to around HUF 1,000 billion (EUR 2.6 billion).
