The French manufacturer of water treatment technology, Veolia Water Hungary Kft., has inaugurated a new factory building at its site in Oroszlány.
The almost HUF 10 billion (EUR 26 million) investment project, which received a 35% state subsidy, has created 100 new jobs at the Oroszlány site. Production area was expanded by 8,000 square meters to 33,000 square meters. By 2024 at the latest, 1,200 people will be working at Veolia’s largest plant for membrane technology for water treatment. The project, which has now been completed, has increased capacity by 30% and the products manufactured in Hungary are exported to 50 countries around the world.
