U.S.-based Support Services Group (SSG) is establishing a new regional service center in Szekszárd, Hungary, to serve Central and Eastern Europe. The investment is valued at approximately HUF 940 million (EUR 2.3 million). With HUF 282 million (EUR 725,000) in government support aimed at creating 75 new jobs. SSG currently employs around 10,000 people across nine countries. U.S. companies now represent the third-largest investor group in Hungary.
Hungary is home to 215 business service centers, which collectively employ over 110,000 people. These centers play a vital role in retaining young, highly skilled, and multilingual talent in the country. More than a quarter of Hungary’s service centers are now located outside the capital, in cities such as Székesfehérvár, Debrecen, Szeged, and Miskolc.
