Shopper Park Plus (SPP) Nyrt. has acquired a retail park portfolio focused on Tesco in Slovakia, expanding its presence to four Slovak locations.
The newly acquired properties are located in Žilina, Nitra, Trnava, and Dunajská Streda. Tesco remains the largest tenant of these shopping centers through its local subsidiary.
With this acquisition, SPP now owns a total of 22 Tesco properties—14 in Hungary, 4 in the Czech Republic, and 4 in Slovakia. The company’s total portfolio comprises retail markets with a rental area of 398,000 square meters and 600 tenants.
SPP shares are listed in the premium category of the Budapest Stock Exchange (BÉT). While revenue decreased from EUR 48.2 million in 2023 to EUR 34.9 million in 2024, the company doubled its net profit from EUR 11.5 million to EUR 24.9 million.
