Polytechnik Hungária Kft. is planning to build a production plant for biomass boilers in Mátraszőlős. The company will receive EU funding of HUF 790 million (EUR 2 million) for the investment.
With this development, the plant will be modernized to meet the increasing global demand for biomass combustion plants. The new production center in Mátraszőlős can manufacture both main components of boilers and complete boilers.
The total usable area of the facility is 4,115 square meters, of which 390 square meters is reserved for service areas. Six overhead cranes will be installed in the production hall. These cranes will enable the production of the Polytechnik Group’s heaviest boilers, weighing 45 tons.
According to the company’s expectations, turnover should increase by 50% and the investment should pay for itself in 3-5 years. With 45 employees, Polytechnik Hungária generated a turnover of HUF 905 million (EUR 2.2 million) in the previous year, compared to HUF 1.05 billion (EUR 2.6 million) in 2022, and reported losses of HUF 130 million (EUR 329 thousand) after HUF -10 million (EUR -25 thousand) in the previous year.
