An investment of HUF 18 billion (EUR 45 million) is set to boost the growth of OBO Bettermann Hungary Kft. Due to an individual government decision, the state supports the investment with HUF 3 billion (EUR 7.5 million). The company will create 100 new jobs in Bugyi as a result.
As part of the investment, OBO Bettermann is establishing a new surface treatment plant at the Bugyi site in Hungary and expanding the related logistics capacities.
The OBO Bettermann Group is present in more than 60 countries. It has the largest production capacities in Hungary and with currently 1,300 employees, has the most employees worldwide. The three Hungarian companies of OBO Bettermann reported sales of over HUF 50 billion (EUR 125 million) last year.
