Neutrik Hungary Kft., the electronics manufacturer from Liechtenstein has inaugurated a new production facility in Ózd. The investment by Neutrik, amounting to HUF 3.7 billion (approx. EUR 9.5 million), will create 260 new jobs. The government provided HUF 1.4 billion (EUR 3.5 million) in subsidies.
As a leading manufacturer of connectors for the entertainment industry, Neutrik took over a former Johnson Electric facility. As a result, part of the previous workforce, affected by mass layoffs during the crisis, was able to find new employment at the site.
