MOL – Strengthening on two fronts

While MOL is expanding its presence in Poland with 10 additional filling stations, the company has also taken another strategically important step. Its subsidiary Geoinform has signed a cooperation agreement with the U.S. company Baker Hughes. The aim of the partnership is to strengthen MOL’s role in the Central and Eastern European exploration and production market through modern technologies and new service solutions.

The opening of the filling stations represents one of the largest development programs of the Polish subsidiary, MOL Polska, in recent years. By the end of 2025, MOL operated 459 filling stations in Poland.

The cooperation between Geoinform, a leading service provider in Hungary’s hydrocarbon and geothermal sector, and Baker Hughes covers the introduction of new services, maintenance and operation of facilities, equipment rental, technical support, engineering consultancy, and professional training programs. Baker Hughes provides technical and service-oriented expertise across the entire energy value chain, from research and production to data processing and interpretation, with a focus on solutions that prioritize energy efficiency and digitalization.
