Weerts Logistics Parks (WLP) has built a modern logistics hall with a total area of 11,500 square meters in Ebes, with an investment of approximately EUR 41 million. The logistics center in Ebes, near Debrecen, represents the first speculative investment by a foreign investor in eastern Hungary.
The project was developed on a site covering more than 122,000 square meters, close to Debrecen Airport, the BMW plant, and the M35 motorway.
Ghibli Kft. is the first partner at the logistics center. The Ghibli Group, active since 1996, provides road transport services in Hungary and across Europe, as well as worldwide air, sea, and rail freight services. The company operates warehouse facilities totaling more than 120,000 square meters in Budapest (Danube Freeport Csepel, Ferenc Liszt International Airport), as well as in Debrecen and its surroundings. Each year, the company handles more than 550,000 orders for clients in the automotive, electronics, FMCG, and chemical industries.
WLP is present with investments exceeding 1 million square meters in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Italy. Over the past six years, the company has developed more than 200,000 square meters of modern logistics properties in Hungary.
