Mol-Janaf – Agreement on oil deliveries

The Croatian oil pipeline operator Janaf and the Mol Group has signed a transport and storage deal of crude oil. According to the agreement, Janaf will transport 2.9 million tonnes of oil and store 79,385 cubic meters of oil at the Omisalj terminal on the island of Krk, as well as 70,000 cubic meters of crude oil at the Sisak terminal. For the time being, it is not known for what period this agreement will apply. Likewise, no financial details were disclosed.

Several months of negotiations were concluded with the announcement. The agreement will ensure a secure supply for the oil refineries in Hungary and Slovakia. It also increases the strategic importance of Janaf in the region.
