MOHU Mol Hulladékgazdálkodási Zrt. has laid the foundation stone for a new waste management center in Esztergom, which will open in May 2024.
A further 82 similar facilities will be built across the country in the coming years. MOHU will spend more than HUF 10 billion (EUR 26.5 million) on the development of waste centers over the next 10 years.
The company aims to increase the recycling rate of municipal waste to 65%. It will first build similar facilities in Karcag, Tiszaföldvár and Veresegyháza, and then build 10 landfills per year.
