Janus Henderson, one of the world’s largest asset managers, is establishing a regional service center in Budapest.

The new center will be Janus Henderson’s largest service hub within the EU and the company’s first in Central and Eastern Europe. The investment includes HUF 1.6 billion (approx. EUR 4.2 million) allocated for training purposes and will create 400 high-skilled jobs. The Hungarian government is supporting the project with HUF 620 million (EUR 1.6 million).

Hungary is currently home to 245 global service centers employing around 118,000 people. The average age of employees in the sector is 35, and four out of five hold a university degree.
