The Szeged-based company, H-Vend Service Kft. has developed remotely controlled and contactless beverage and food vending machines with the help of EU funding.
As part of a project supported with HUF 140 million (EUR 343,000) from the EU (total project volume: HUF 225 million / EUR 551,000), the company created an integrated hardware and IT system. This provides partners operating up to 5,000 machines with a comprehensive, all-in-one service. Through touchscreens, customers can access up-to-date information about products and promotions. A specially developed app allows for calorie tracking, product selection, and contactless payment. Employers can allocate credit for vending machines on company premises. Thanks to integrated RFID readers, users within companies can identify themselves using their access cards.
This family-owned business supplies customers in 20 countries, primarily in France, Spain, and Italy. With 34 employees, H-Vend Service Kft. achieved net sales of HUF 675 million (EUR 1.8 million) in 2023, representing a one-third increase compared to the previous year.
