Gebrüder Weiss Kft. handed over an investment of HUF 10 billion (EUR 25.6 million) in Dunaharaszti. The 10,000 square meters logistics complex with transshipment warehouses, high-bay warehouses and associated offices is equipped with the latest technologies.
A total of 100 docking bays are available for loading and unloading goods. The expansion has increased the company’s central logistics facility to 32,000 square meters and the total area of its logistics site network in Hungary to almost 100,000 square meters.
The new logistics complex is equipped with highly automated systems, including the AutoStore automated storage system. The goods are stored and moved using intelligent technologies.
Next major investment in Győr
GW Kft. has established a network of six equal locations with independent management and decision-making authority, in which, in addition to Dunaharaszti, it offers its entire range of services at the same high level and with the same quality indicators at locations in Győr, Zalaegerszeg, Pécs, Szeged and Polgár nationwide with 450 employees. The company’s next major investment will be in Győr in 2026, where it plans to build a stand-alone logistics facility.
