The second phase of Grand Corvin by real estate developer Cordia – a member of the Futureal Group – has reached its final stage, as the last residential building of Budapest’s Corvin Promenade has been completed.
The development of Corvin Promenade started in 2005. On 22 hectares, a total of 2,700 new apartments, 100,000 square meters of office space and 50,000 square meters of commercial property have been built for almost EUR 1 billion.
However, the renewal of the Corvin district still continues. The Futureal Group is constructing further residential and office buildings in the surrounding streets. Futureal Group will also about to launch another large-scale urban district redevelopment project named Marina City, which is similar in scale to the Corvin district. Marina City will be built on a 10-hectare site on the banks of the Danube in Budapest.
Cordia is one of the largest property development and investment group in the Central and Eastern European region. The group has a presence in the mid to high end segments of the new residential markets in Hungary, Poland, Romania and the UK, as well as in a pilot project in Spain.
