Diehl Aviation Hungary Kft. built a new production hall in Nyírbátor with an investment of HUF 2.5 billion (EUR 6.1 million). This is the third production hall of the Hungarian subsidiary. The state funded the project with HUF 867 million (EUR 2 million).
The manufacturer of aircraft components employs 870 people in Nyírbátor and Debrecen. In the aviation industry, the lightweight construction specialist Diehl Aviation is a leading system supplier for aircraft system and cabin solutions.
The Hungarian aircraft industry employs 3,300 people and had a production value of HUF 70 billion (EUR 172 million) in the first 5 months of 2022 – a third above last year’s value.
