The Liegl & Dachser Spedition and Logistics Kft., based in Pilisvörösvár, is strengthening its location in Kecskemét and establishing a new direct connection to Bulgaria. This move comes in response to Romania and Bulgaria’s accession to the Schengen Area.
Due to rising customer demand and the expected intensification of trade relations, Dachser Hungary is further integrating its Kecskemét location into the logistics network with the new direct connection to Sofia. This route is the second new direct connection introduced this year, following the Pilisvörösvár-Padua route launched in January.
In addition to transport services, the Kecskemét location also offers warehouse logistics. The modernization of this facility has significantly increased capacity and efficiency, allowing for faster deliveries to Bulgaria—not only for customers in the Kecskemét region but also from all over Hungary and the Central European area.
The family-owned company Dachser, headquartered in Germany, employs around 34,000 people worldwide at 382 locations. Dachser has been present in Hungary since 1999 through Liegl & Dachser Kft. The company operates one of the country’s most modern logistics hubs from Pilisvörösvár. Its domestic network includes 7 locations, with a total of 400 employees and 24 daily direct transports. In 2023, the company generated a net revenue of HUF 31.5 billion (EUR 78.75 million) and a net profit of HUF 1.8 billion (EUR 4.5 million).
