Capital fund for SMEs

The National Capital Holdings (NTH) and the MOL Group have launched a new fund with a volume of EUR 100 million. The private capital fund “Digital and Circular Tomorrow” was registered as part of the Baross capital program. It is managed by Lead Ventures based in Budapest.

The fund targets high-growth SMEs in Hungary and Europe operating in the energy, chemical, automotive, engineering, and digital solutions sectors. It also focuses on sectors that support circular economy objectives.

With a term of ten years, the fund has been endowed with subscribed capital of EUR 100 million. The state-owned MFB Invest Zrt. will provide 49% of the capital and MOL CVC Investment Kft, a subsidiary of the oil company, 51%. The fund is managed by Lead Ventures, a specialist in financing companies in the growth phase.
