Agribusiness company Bunge Zrt. is investing over USD 50 million (approx. HUF 16.5 billion) to expand its production facility in Martfű, Hungary.
As part of the project, the company will install a state-of-the-art biomass boiler to improve the plant’s operational efficiency. The new boiler is scheduled for completion by September 2026 and is expected to be fully operational by early 2028.

The plant includes a core processing unit, a refinery, a bottling facility, and the SunPro facility, where GMO-free and sustainable animal feed is made from sunflower seeds.
Bunge operates in more than 50 countries worldwide, employs 37,000 people, and is a global leader in grain sourcing, storage, and distribution, as well as in oilseed processing and refining.
