According to a study by the International Workplace Group (IWG) – an operator of flexible and hybrid workplaces – Budapest is the best city in the world for hybrid and remote working.
The Hungarian capital came first in the ranking, which assesses the quality of work locations and opportunities for hybrid working. The results are based on a global survey of 1,000 employees in hybrid offices. According to the study, working from home has become established in many companies since the Covid pandemic.
Budapest also received top scores in the categories of accommodation, transport, sustainability and internet speed. The city also scores highly for its architecture, more than 200 museums and galleries and numerous sights.
