Audi Hungaria – New production record

A 10-year production record was broken at the Audi plant in Győr last year. Last year, 177,775 vehicles rolled off the production line here – including 94,283 Q3 models, 73,806 Q3 Sportbacks, 6,850 Audi TT Coupés and 2,681 TT Roadsters.

In addition, 1,660,425 engines were built in Győr, compared to 1,677,545 in 2022. 114,058 of the engines produced were electric, compared to 108,097 last year.

In addition to the Audi models, the company will start series production of the Cupra Terramar in 2024. Preparations are also underway for the production of the new generation of MEB ECO electric motors.

Audi Hungaria continues to be one of the largest employers in the country – the company closed 2023 with 11,663 employees. The wholly-owned subsidiary AUDI HUNGARIA AHEAD Kft. founded in 2023 employed 480 people at the end of the year, bringing the total number of employees of the two companies to 12,143. Audi Hungaria celebrated its 30th anniversary last year.
