The hypermarket chain Auchan Magyarország is aiming to triple its revenues by 2032 with new retail formats. It currently operates more than 19 hypermarkets with attached filling stations, as well as around half a dozen supermarkets.

Initially, the existing hypermarkets are to be modernized. In addition to optimized sales areas, the chain plans to expand its range of food products, fresh goods, private labels, and seasonal items. From 2027 onwards, Auchan intends to open small stores with a floor space of 70–150 square meters in densely populated residential and office districts. Part of this expansion will take place through franchise models. For online customers, the number of Cool Box lockers will also be increased.

According to preliminary figures, Auchan Magyarország Kft. increased its revenues in 2025 by nearly HUF 100 billion (EUR 266,6 million) to HUF 542 billion (EUR 1.4 billion). Since the end of 2024, Auchan Magyarország has been a junior partner of the Hungarian Indotek Group.
