The Hungarian company Aero Space Power is constructing an additional production hall in Kisvárda. The investment, worth HUF 2 billion (approx. EUR 5.3 million), is being supported by the state with a 25% subsidy.
With this project, Aero Space Power aims to increase its workforce to more than 250 employees. The company plans to expand its civil aircraft repair activities, for which a long-term agreement has been signed with the U.S. company GE Aerospace. As part of the cooperation, the license for the repair of four aircraft engine components will be transferred.
In addition to its EU license (EASA), the Hungarian company now also holds the relevant certifications from the aviation authorities of China (CAAC) and the United States (FAA). As a result, components are shipped to Kisvárda for repair from all parts of the world. The current project, based on the new cooperation with GE Aerospace, is scheduled for completion by the end of 2027.
