The UBM Group will continue its foreign expansion in Kazakhstan with an investment of around EUR 50 million (HUF 20 billion).
A premix plant with an annual capacity of 30,000 tons, a laboratory and a training center are to be built in the southern part of Kazakhstan within two years. In the second phase of the investment until 2028, three animal feed plants with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons each are planned.
Founded in 1996, the UBM Group is Hungary’s leading animal feed manufacturer and one of the largest traders of animal feed raw materials. The group employs around 400 people and operates 6 feed factories in Hungary, Slovakia and Romania. Through its sales offices in Hungary, Italy, Austria, Romania and Serbia, the group covers the wholesale markets for animal feed from the Black Sea to Western Europe.
