Gránit Bank was awarded the “Fastest Growing Digital Bank of Hungary 2023” prize by the renowned British financial journal “Global Banking and Finance Review Magazine”. The award recognised the bank’s internationally outstanding growth, the continuous development of the mobile eBank app and the digital solutions supporting sustainability.
Gránit Bank is an increasingly important player in the Hungarian banking sector, with total assets of HUF 1,100 billion (EUR 2.8 billion) and 130,000 customer accounts. The bank’s share of the corporate and retail loan market is also growing steadily, with a non-performing loan ratio of a minimal 0.02%.
With its digital financial innovations, Gránit Bank is years ahead of the banking sector. The share of retail accounts opened via VideoBank or self-service has increased by 23% in one year and now accounts for 96% of all account openings.
