Gebrüder Weiss Magyarország Kft. is expanding its logistics capacities with a new 10,500 square meters logistics hall. The HUF 10 billion (EUR 23.25 million) investment will increase the capacity of the company’s headquarters by a factor and a half. The new hall, which will be built next to the existing 23,000 square meters warehouse complex, is scheduled to be completed within a year.
As part of the most comprehensive development program in the company’s 32-year history, GW built two new locations in Zalaegerszeg and Pécs, each with an area of 2,500 square meters, and in early 2022 a new hall with an area of 2,900 square meters in Polgár and Szeged. With the developments, the company has divided its Hungarian network into 6 equal regions with independent management and decision-making power, creating nationwide coverage.
Gebrüder Weiss Holding AG, based in Lauterach, Austria, is a global full-service logistics company with around 8,000 employees and 180 company-owned sites.
