Jász-Plasztik Kft. increased its capacity in Jászberény with an investment of HUF 10 billion (EUR 24.6 million). The project received HUF 3.6 billion (EUR 8.8 million) government support under the program to boost investment by large companies. The government sees high value-added investments that replace imports as strategically important.
Jász-Plasztik Kft. employs around 6,000 people in Germany and abroad and has six plants. The company’s main activities are plastic moulding, tooling, battery manufacturing and other manufacturing, commercial and service activities. As part of the investment series, factory halls were built in Jászberény, Jászapáti and Nagyréde, a solar park was built in Jászberény and development of production lines was carried out. In 2021, the company reported net sales of around HUF 180 billion (EUR 443 million) and a taxed profit of HUF 14.3 billion (EUR 35 million).
