Kecskeméti Konzerv Kft. is expanding its capacities with an investment of HUF 3.3 billion (EUR 8.3 million). As part of the support program for large companies, the state is supporting the investment with HUF 1.2 billion (EUR 4.5 million).
The canning company processes green peas and sweet corn. Their production capacity now amounts to 200 million canned vegetables per year. 98% of their products are primarily exported to Germany, Austria, the Visegrád countries and Scandinavia. The company exports outside the EU as well, to Israel, Japan and Turkey.
In the past five years, Kecskeméti Konzerv has spent almost HUF 11 billion (EUR 27.6 million) on developments, e.g. the construction of a 9,300 square meters warehouse, modern machinery and equipment.
