The Baolong Group – one of China’s largest automotive suppliers – is building a greenfield site in Szigetszentmiklós (south of Budapest).
The project will be the basis of Baolong’s European electric mobility activities. Components for electric and smart cars are manufactured here. The plant is being built with an investment of HUF 5 billion (EUR 14.1 million). The government is supporting the greenfield investment, which will create 35 new jobs, with HUF 1.5 billion (EUR 4 million).
