By the transaction, all employees, the customer base, and the infrastructure of Sameday, along with its 1,100 parcel lockers, are transferred to Express One, making the company one of the largest operators of parcel lockers and pickup points in Hungary.
Express One Hungary Kft., the parcel logistics service provider of Austrian Post Group, is acquiring 100% of the shares in Delivery Solutions Zrt. The parcel logistics company, operating under the brand Sameday Hungary, will thus be integrated into the Austrian company’s subsidiary. The purchase price was not disclosed.
Sameday was founded in 2007, operates under the same brand in Romania, and has been present in Hungary since 2020 through its subsidiary Delivery Solutions Zrt. The company employs 230 people, provides parcel logistics for eMAG, handles a seven-figure monthly parcel volume, and generated over EUR 22 million in revenue in the last fiscal year.
Express One Hungary, formerly trans-o-flex Hungary, has been a key player in the Hungarian parcel logistics market for nearly 30 years. With almost 280 employees, the company is responsible for delivering 120,000 parcels daily, both domestically and internationally.
