BYD is continuing to expand its retail and service network in Hungary. In the fourth quarter of 2025, five new dealerships will open in Debrecen, Kecskemét, Nyíregyháza, Székesfehérvár, and Budapest.

The new locations include showrooms operated by Pappas Auto in Budapest’s 13th district, AutoWallis in Debrecen, JP Auto in Kecskemét and Nyíregyháza, and Autócentrum Szabó in Székesfehérvár. All new dealerships will offer BYD’s full model range. Currently, the brand is available in Budapest, Győr, Pécs, and Szeged.

Founded in 2003, BYD Auto is a subsidiary of the multinational high-tech company BYD, focusing on the development of fully electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. The BYD brand entered the Hungarian market in October 2023 with its lineup of plug-in and fully electric vehicles. BYD Auto has launched the construction of a production plant in Szeged with a multi-billion-euro investment and recently announced that it will establish its European corporate and development center in Budapest.
