Magyar Telekom – Dividend payment in May

Magyar Telekom will distribute a dividend of nearly HUF 91 billion (EUR 223 million) to its shareholders from the approved 2024 financial report. This decision was made by the company’s General Meeting on April 15.

The General Meeting approved the consolidated financial report of Magyar Telekom for the year 2024, with a net profit after tax of HUF 163.4 billion (EUR 400.5 million), and the standalone report with a net profit after tax of HUF 154 billion (EUR 377.4 million), along with both the consolidated and individual sustainability reports for the previous year.

The General Meeting then decided on the allocation of the profit after tax for 2024. According to the resolution, the company will pay a total dividend of HUF 90,858,108,400 (EUR 222.7 million) to shareholders. The remaining HUF 63,154,362,758 (EUR 154.8 million) of after-tax profit, as shown in the standalone report, will be allocated to retained earnings. May 20, 2025 is the first day of dividend payment.

The shareholders authorized the Board of Directors to acquire Magyar Telekom shares via the stock exchange or in over-the-counter transactions. This initiative aims to reward shareholders and implement stock-based incentive programs. The authorization remains valid for 18 months.
