Vajda-Papír is launching a three-year strategic investment program worth HUF 40 billion (just under EUR 105 million) to improve efficiency and sustainability. The program will simultaneously expand production capacities, modernize technologies, and strengthen the company’s regional market position. As a result, capacity is expected to increase by around 40%.
At the same time, the acquisition of the household paper business of Sofidel Hungary in Lábatlan is currently underway, with financial closing expected in the second quarter. This acquisition will enable Vajda-Papír to broaden its product portfolio and enhance supply security in the region.
