Schneider Electric – Smart factory in Dunavecse

Schneider Electric has inaugurated its fifth plant in Hungary with an investment of HUF 31 billion (EUR 79.5 million). The French company will produce medium-voltage devices for electrical distribution equipment. The government granted subsidies of HUF 4 billion (EUR 10.2 million) for the creation of 500 jobs. The smart factory produces climate-neutrally and supplies numerous European markets.

Schneider Electric currently employs around 2,150 people. The group has factories in Zalaegerszeg, Gyöngyös and Kunszentmiklós as well as at the CEElog regional logistics center in Szigetszentmiklós and several SSCs in Budapest.
