Robert Bosch Power Tool Kft. has inaugurated its new logistics and distribution center in Miskolc, developed as part of a project worth HUF 54 billion (nearly EUR 148 million). The complex spans approximately 100,000 square meters in the city’s industrial park.

The center will serve as a regional hub for the distribution of Bosch products across Eastern Europe. This marks the first time Bosch has established a finished goods warehouse in Hungary. The system enables real-time, automated tracking of goods throughout the entire value chain. Thanks to digitalization, error rates can be reduced by up to 20%, and the facility is capable of handling up to 204,000 pallets of goods annually. The new logistics center will distribute finished products and components to 26 countries.

In Miskolc alone, Bosch produces over 14 million power tools annually using high-end technologies and employing more than 3,700 people.
