RIGO Szerszám- és Formakészítő Kft. laid the foundation stone for a new factory in Martfű. The company builds bookbinding machines and customized tools.
The Budapest company’s new plant is part of a HUF 1.6 billion (EUR 4 million) development. The investment was supported by a non-repayable EU grant of HUF 808.85 million (EUR 2 million) from the Economic Development and Innovation Operational Program (GINOP Plus).
The development not only increases the production area, but also involves technology development. The new factory building will be directly connected to the existing halls so material handling can take place in a closed space in line with the technological trend and the principles of Industry 4.0. The project is expected to be completed by the end of September 2024.
